Food, Stuff
I’m not much of a cook. I’m sure with a bit of practice I could learn to whip up some respectable vittles but if given the choice I’d much rather go out and get something to eat than stay home and cook. However a couple things I’ve run across lately are threatening to change that.
The first is an iPad app called The Photo Cookbook. The photography and typography are both beautiful and the dishes are non threatening even for me. Additionally this app would be a great excuse for me to finally get an iPad. However, I may have to actually successfully prepare some foodstuffs before I can really make that justification.

The second is a movie posted by our friend Bobby at Kitsune Noir. Cooking Dinner Vol. 1 is a beautiful piece of cinematography as much as it is food porn, and while the knife skills showcased in the video seem a bit advanced the dish itself is simple and beautiful. I’d LOVE if this was a series of videos but the creator, William Hereford’s Vimeo page doesn’t hint at another episode anytime soon.
